THE RIGHT STARTING POINT

When spreadsheets and workarounds stop being enough.

Repeated data entry, information scattered across systems, and manual status updates make everyday work harder than it needs to be. A focused web application can bring the right steps and information into one usable place.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

For businesses planning customer portals, booking workflows, internal dashboards, reporting tools, or an early version of a new digital product.

WHAT WE CAN COVER

A clear scope.
Useful deliverables.

01

Workflow & feature scoping

Map the users, decisions, data, and essential journeys so the first version has a clear purpose.

02

Interface & interaction design

Make screens and workflows understandable, including the empty states, error messages, and everyday details.

03

Application & integration development

Build the agreed functionality, user roles, data flows, and connections to supported external systems.

04

Testing & operational handover

Test key journeys and permissions, document the deployment setup, and agree how maintenance will work.

The proposal confirms exactly what is included, the dependencies, and the responsibilities on each side.

HOW IT WORKS

From the first question
to a clear next step.

01

Map the workflow

Define the users and the problem to solve. Separate the essential first release from features that can wait.

02

Prototype & build

Review the screens and interactions, then develop the application in manageable stages with regular checkpoints.

03

Release & improve

Test realistic scenarios, deploy the agreed release, and use feedback to decide what comes next.

EctivePro

One point of contact.
Personal accountability.

EctivePro is an independent, developer-led business. You work directly with the person planning and building your project.

If specialist help would benefit the work, it is discussed with you first. Scope, communication, and responsibility stay clear.

BEFORE WE START

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Can we start with a smaller first version?

Yes. A focused first release is often a practical way to test the important workflows before committing to a larger feature set. Scope and priorities are agreed together.

Can the application connect to existing tools?

Often, provided the tools expose suitable APIs or supported integration methods. Access, documentation, subscription requirements, and data limits are checked during scoping.

How are security requirements handled?

Access roles, data sensitivity, authentication, input handling, and deployment requirements are discussed early and included in the scope. Any specialist compliance requirements need to be identified before the build is agreed.

Who will manage the application after launch?

The handover covers the agreed operational responsibilities. Ongoing maintenance and improvements can be arranged separately, with hosting and third-party service costs made clear.

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR PROJECT

Talk through your application.

Bring a description of the workflow, the people who use it, examples of the information involved, and the systems it needs to connect to. Screenshots or a rough process sketch are useful; a complete specification is not required.
